Welcome Program for
 New Students

 January 5-7, 2013

Arrival Locations & Times for New Spring Students

Resident Students Only: On Saturday, January 5, 2013, pick up room keys in the lobby of Bassett Hall between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m., then move into assigned residence halls.

All Students:  On Sunday, January 6, report to the Academic Resources Center on the lower level of Stanley Library (the entrance is off of the patio on the lake side of the building) between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m.

All new students entering in Spring 2013 should plan to participate in our Welcome Program throughout the day on Sunday, January 6th.  On that day, you’ll get a lot of information about Ferrum, complete the check-in process, and receive your class schedule.  If you’ll be living on campus as a resident student, you’ll be moving into your assigned residence hall room during the previous afternoon – Saturday, January 5th.  Classes will begin on Monday, January 7th.

In order to receive your class schedule, you’ll need to submit the Course Preference Questionnaire on-line through Panther Tracks as soon as possible.  If you see a link on Panther Tracks to take the math placement test it is also required if you have not previously taken a college math course.  We’ll begin to compile your class schedule after you have completed these tasks. You’ll get your schedule and have an opportunity to talk with a faculty member about it during the Welcome Program.
