Ferrum College News - The Blue Ridge Dinner Theatre at Ferrum College To Hold Auditions March 29

The Blue Ridge Dinner Theatre, located at Ferrum College, will hold local auditions for singers, dancers, and musicians on March 29.

The BRDT has been in operation for 29 years performing quality entertainment for the entire family. This year’s season consists of Nunsense II, The Second Coming, Mrs. California, When the Lights Go On Again: A Musical Revue of WWII, Saunders Family Christmas, and Little Women: A Musical.

The Blue Ridge Dinner Theatre is a resident company. All members of the company must have some college or equivalent dramatic experience, be available to work full time from May through early August, and be able to live at Ferrum College. Additionally, the BRDT may be willing to consider Apprentice Company Members. These people must be high school graduates or first year college students who have dramatic experience.

Auditions are by appointment only. To make appointments, email brdt@ferrum.edu or call 540-365-4354. Auditionees should be prepared to do a memorized scene, demonstrate any musical skills, and bring a head shot and resume.
